TODAY: PALM SUNDAY: The main thought in St. Mark’s gospel which we read today is Christ’s Kingdom.  Pilate, as the judge, asked Jesus “Are you the King of the Jews?”  When Pilate placed Jesus next to Barabas he asked: “What am I to do with the man you call the King of the Jews?”  Or: “Do you want me to release the King of the Jews for you?”  Even the soldiers were making fun of Him and saluting Him: “All hail!  King of the Jews!”   And the inscription on his cross read: “The King of the Jews”.  The God blasphemers and God killers provoked him even at his dying: “Let the Messiah, the King of Israel, come down from that cross here and now so that we can see it and believe him!”   This Sunday wants to emphasize the truth that Jesus Christ is truly the King.  But his Kingdom is not of this world…His Kingdom is not limited to space and time.  His Kingdom is all over this planet where people live and accept Jesus, where people believe in Him and arrange their lives according to His principles and commandments that He brought to the world.  Christ is the King-Victor.  The Church prepares a great triumphal welcome.  The Church door is a triumphal gate which one has to go through.  We are His booty taken away from hell.  But we are also the people who greet Him as their greatest personality.  We are at the same time His subjects and soldiers who are ready to suffer with Him, fight for Him and die for Him in order to triumph one day with Him, win and be glorified with Him.  All our life has to be a witnessing for Christ, the Son of the Living God.  Above our hearts and our lives nobody else is to reign…only Him.

No njegovo kraljevstvo nije od ovoga svijeta.  Nije omeđeno prostorom i vremenom. Nad našim srcem i nad našim životom i ne smije nitko drugi kraljevati osim jedino On, Krist Kralj!
