TODAY: Family plays a very important role in the life of every person. Healthy families create healthy people. Mixed-up families make mixed-up people. In destroyed families, the members are destroyed. The general rule states that healthy families lead to a healthy nation. The destruction of families begins with the destruction of its families.  The Church knows this and offers us an example to follow; the Holy Family of Nazareth- the family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. The family is established for its individual members giving an opportunity for each individual to realize his/her own full potential. Husband realizes his potential in the love for his wife and in this he is fulfilled.  Wife realizes her femininity in her love for her husband and in this she is fulfilled. Both find fulfillment in the birth, love and education of their children.  The children fulfill their potential by being close to and growing with their parents. In this the family’s interpersonal relationships are realized.  Man is a social being and from his beginning each person must adapt to his community.

Zdravlje naroda ovisi o zdravim obiteljima, a propast naroda počinje s propadanjem obitelji.  Crkva je toga svjesna. A pošto nam želi prije svega dobro, pruža nam uzor kojega bismo trebali slijediti- Nazaretsku obitelj.
